Impressive Research Presentation Night

Wednesday was a big night for everyone involved with HHK 347-the students offered their final presentation for an audience of family, friends, faculty and interviews subjects.  Dr. Fink opened the evening with an overview of the class, the research project, the Slow Food movement and the travel component of the class yet to come.   The students followed with a Prezi presentation focused on the food system in the United States, a description of their research process, and the  results and analysis included video clips of interviews.

The students were prepared, extremely poised and their research was comprehensive.  I speak for all in attendance when I say - congratulations! Dr. Fink and the students know how far they have come from the first week of class, but they should be incredibly proud of what they have done.

I am posting a few photos from the evening which include the studentinterview teams with their subjects -wonderful people who shared their oral histories of food traditions.

More posts soon-10 days and counting to Italy . . .
